About us

Our company was founded in 2004 by our mother. She had previously built up a French children's brand in Austria for twenty years and then distributed high-quality silk dresses and costumes for festive occasions. We always helped out and thus got to know the fashion industry from an early age. We fondly remember our visits to the trade fairs in Paris, where we new collections picked out the clothes.

When we started our own families, we decided to go in a new direction. We started to produce together Children's dirndl produce and sell the matching Cardigans to sell.
Very soon there was a demand for beautiful traditional cardigans and -coats for Ladies and so we started with "it's alippa". For a few years now we have also been offering classic, fashionable cardigans and recently we have expanded our range with Men's cardigans expanded.

We live in different places with our husbands and four children each, Victoria in Munich and Valerie in Lower Austria. We think it is wonderful that as best friends and sisters we remain closely connected through our entrepreneurial work!

With dedication to detail and appreciation of tradition, our cardigans are made exclusively in Bavaria, because producing regionally is very important to us. For this, very high quality materials such as 100% merino wool and genuine stag buttons are used. The other products, such as dirndls and nightwear, are also made in Europe.
